Description:

Formcoat S is a ready for use, single component, release agent for formwork.

Usage

Formcoat S is used as a release agent for most types of formwork allowing for easy stripping of formwork and improving concrete finish.

Materials Supplied

Formcoat S is available in pails - 20 l and drums - 200 l.

Storage/ Shelf Life

Formcoat S should be stored under a shaded area at a minimum ambient temperature of 5°C.
Formcoat S has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored in proper conditions and sealed drums.

Application Information

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Formwork S must be cleaned of surface deposits, rust, concrete, oil or other materials. Inadequate cleaning may lead to surface blemishes.

Coating new timber formwork with a polyurethane sealer will protect the formwork, increase service life and improve concrete surface finish.

APPLICATION

Formcoat S can be applied using brush, sponge or spray application.

Non-absorbent surfaces require a single application.

New, unsealed, timber surfaces may need recoating if the first application is absorbed into the timber.

FIRE

Formcoat S is flammable. Do not expose to naked flame or other sources of ignition.
