Description:

Grundix Contact+ is a a water dispersion of synthetic resins. Provides adhesion between absorbent and nonabsorbent surfaces with various subsequent coatings.

Usage

Grundix Contact+ is solvent-free and comes ready for use. Particularly suitable for problem surfaces.

For walls, floors and ceilings.

For the preparation of absorbent and non-absorbent mineral and problematic surfaces.

It prepares the surface before applying smoothing plasters, plasters, putties, ceramic tiles, paint.

Contact between old and new floorings - cement, ceramic, mosaic, natural and synthetic stone, asphalt, etc

Prepare the surface before dispersion coatings application.

Approx. 30 - 120 ml/m² , coverage depends on the type of the base

Storage/ Shelf Life

Grundix Contact+ is stored in dry, storage conditions, between + 5°C and 30 °C.
Keep away from freezing and direct sunlight.
It has a shelf life of 12 months in unopened, original packaging.

Remarks

Grundix Contact+ is used only in dry conditions at ambient temperatures between +5 °С and +35°С.
Not applicable on wet and frozen surfaces, and on directly sun-shaded walls.
The material is sensitive to low temperatures. Do not store, transported and applied at temperatures below +5°С.

Application Information

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The foundation must be strong, dry and clean. Dust, residues of old coatings, oil, dirt must be removed.

APPLICATION

Grundix Contact+ is applied with a flat brush, roller or spray machine.

When used as a contact layer when applying a tile over tile, the primer should be dilute with water 1:2 or used undiluted.
When applied as a reinforcing layer of gypsum plasters, Grundix Contact + is diluted 1:2. Immediately after drying, the gypsum plaster is applied.
When applied as a primer before self-leveling materials, Grundix Contact + should be dilute depending on the type of substrate: for cement based substrates - 1:1 to 1:3, for non-absorbent substrates - 1:1. As a primer before applying wallpaper - 1:3, as a primer between smoothing layers - 1:3.
