Description:

Flexfoam GUN 888 is one component, self-expanding, high yield polyurethane foam which can be applied using a polyurethane foam applicator gun.

Usage

Flexfoam GUN 888 is developed to react with the humidity to give excellent thermal and sound insulation properties with strong adhesion to common construction substrates.

Flexfoam GUN 888 is packaged in 750 ml aerosol cans holding

Storage

Storage in the original unopened cans at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C away from direct sunlight, snow and rain.

Remarks

Sensitive to UV and direct sun light
Not recommended for use in contact with Teflon, polyethylene and silicon surfaces

Shelf Life

12 months in unopened cans stored under good conditions.

Application Information

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Surfaces must be sound, clean, and free of oil and grease. Spray small amounts of water onto the substrate prior to the application. For cold applications, Flexfoam GUN 888 must be kept in a warm room where the temperature does not exceed 30°C before the application.

APPLICATION

Shake Flexfoam Gun 888 well before using then attached the aerosol can onto the applicator gun. The discharge rate can be controlled by controlling the pressure on the trigger of the gun.
Fill half of the cavities' volume and leave the foam to expand in the joint, then refill as necessary.
Flexfoam GUN 888 aerosol can must be kept upside down during the time of discharging.

CLEANING

Uncured foam can be cleaned using acetone. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
