Description:

AquaProof Tape GP is manufactured with modified polyester knitted fabric, coated with thermoplastic elastomer.

Usage

Aquaproof Tape GP is applied for joints and corners in bathrooms, kitchens and flexible waterproofing solution for expansion joints.

AquaProof Tape GP is designed to be used in joints and corners in conjuction with the AquaProof range and other systems from DCP.

Materials Supplied

Aquaproof Tape GP is available in 5, 10 or 50 meter rolls.

Storage/ Shelf Life

Aquaproof Tape GP has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacturer if stored in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight, rain and snow.

Application Information

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Surfaces should be clean, sound and free from oil, grease, dirt or loose particles. Substrate should be dry, with no standing water. Spalled, cracked or defected substrate should be repaired. New concrete substrates should be at least 28 days old.

Contact DCP technical department for more information about the products which can be used in conjunction with Aquaproof Tape GP.

APPLICATION

While the waterproofing coat is still wet place Aquaproof Tape GP using a flat sided trowel. Press out any excess material while removing all the air bubbles and insuring all parts of Aquaproof Tape GP are embedded into the waterproofing layer. Aquaproof Tape GP must have an overlap of at least 5 cm between consecutive rolls and corner pieces.
